Timings – Roast Beef

These timings are related to these posts in combination so you don’t have to figure it out:

Assuming a 5pm dinner time:

2.45pm – Remove the joint from the fridge

3.15pm – Prepare the potatoes for roasting

3.45pm – Preheat the oven, season and sear the joint

3.55pm – Move the joint to the oven, reduce temperature to 200. Place the potatoes in the oven.

4.10pm. – Place the carrots in the oven

4.20pm – Add oil to the Yorkshire tin and place in the oven

4.20pm – Prepare the Yorkshire mix

4.30pm – Remove Yorkshire tin, add Yorkshire mix and place back in the oven

4.45pm – Remove the meat from the oven and rest

4.45pm – Prepare gravy in the meat tin

5pm – Serve
